Ratlike

Fall 2025

Ratlike is a project that I worked on in the Fall semester of my Senior year in Collaborative game production studio. In this class, we were put into small groups and our task was to create a vertical slice of a game by the end of the semester. My group decided to work in Godot for this project.

My Role in the Project:
I was the Technical Artist for this project. As the Technical Artist, I acted as an in-between agent for the artists and the programmers. I would help communicate between the two, helping them understand what the other roles needed from them. I was also in charge of getting all of the assets in-engine and I worked on implementing the work of the artists into the gameplay - for example, I worked on getting the animations of the rat to work with the movement that the programmers created. I also handled technical tasks that the artists needed help with in their workflow, such as rigging and helping with modeling and texturing. Finally, I created an organizational system for both the artists and the programmers.
